Rihanna dons a fierce armored-shoulder handbag from British brand Fleet Ilya while out and about on Wednesday (September 9) in New York City.
The husband and wife duo behind the label are Ilya Fleet (a trained saddler) and his wife, Reshna Sharma (a St Martins graduate) who are both obsessed with surrealism and design extravagant masks, headpieces, corsets and waist cinchers as well as belts and bags, all intended to create the feeling of being armoured while still looking feminine.
Rihanna's bag owes much to the label's obsession with skeletal structures and mechanics and is available at Dover Street Market and Merchant Archive in London this season.
